2. What data we collect
- Contact form data: name, company, email address and the content of the message you choose to send us.
- Navigation data: the hosting provider automatically records technical data (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, browser type) in the server logs, for the operation and security of the site.
The site does not use its own profiling cookies or statistical analytics tools. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to your requests sent via the form — legal basis: responding to your request and any pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Security and correct operation of the site — legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
4. Recipients and processors
To deliver the service we rely on third-party providers that process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — forwarding contact-form messages to our mailbox.
- Hostinger — provider of the mailbox that receives and stores the messages sent through the form.
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery of the site.
Some of these providers are based in the United States and may process data outside the European Union. In that case the transfer takes place under the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
5. Data retention
Data sent through the form is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, and in any case for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless legal obligations require longer retention. After that period, the data is deleted.
6. Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To do so, write to info@chimeraocs.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
7. Changes
This policy may be updated over time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown above.
